Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full time Early Career Reliability Engineer   In this role, you will do mathematical modeling for spacecraft and missile reliability   The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of statistical analysis and electrical designs  Must be a US Citizen

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* - Recent graduate with an Engineering or Physics degree, or other related background or field of study from an accredited university or college

- Mathematical modeling or statistical analysis

- Electrical / electronics related studies or experience

** Desired

Skills:

* - Masters of Science  MS  coursework related to the following desired degrees   Mathematics, Operations Research, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics

- Proficiency in mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, electrical circuit design, and environmental effects on performance

- Missile or space segment design and test experience with subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members

- Familiarity with Military Reliability HDBKS and Standards i e ; the application of probability and statistics to support decisions regarding sample size, burn in life testing and failure analysis investigations

- Active clearance

** Work Schedules:
** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees   Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed   These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits

** Schedule for this Position:
** 9x80 every other Friday off

** Pay Rate:
** The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York  excluding most major metropolitan areas , Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500    $101,430  For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location  Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only  Lockheed Martin considers factors such as  but not limited to  scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer
