As an Electromagnetic Engineering Effects  E3  Engineer, you will support the System Engineering  SE  Special Disciplines Organization within National Security Space  NSS  in one or more of the following areas:

- Primary role will be to perform main aspects of EMI testing to include: planning, writing of test procedures, conducting/overseeing the equipment availability, setup, testing, and test report to stakeholders and customers

- Apply and grow your electromagnetic engineering skills to enable the logical and systematic conversion of customer needs into total systems derived requirements and solutions

- Perform and support functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

- Perform and support requirements sell off through: compiling, organizing, performing, evaluating and documenting completed compliance verification process which assesses design performance and operational electromagnetic issues at both the package and system levels

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* - Expertise and conversant with Mil Std 461/464 requirements and the applicable test methods

- Expertise in Electromagnetic Compatibility  EMC  theory

- Active or Current Top Secret security clearance; US Citizenship Required

** Desired

Skills:

*
* - Experience with satellite and/or missile system and/or box level test and analysis  or equivalent

- MATLAB, Excel, CST/EMA3D  3 D modeling software tool , and PSPICE or equivalent experience

- Generating EMC/E3 Control Plans, procedures, Lab Reports, or equivalent

- Electromagnetic Compatibility  EMC  Analysis

- Microsoft Office applications

- Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, proactive and self starter, demonstrated teamwork and leadership

- Enthusiastic learner, independent thinker, and team player

** Security Clearance Statement:
** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration

** TS/SCI
