The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence. The Lockheed Martin FBM Program is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Denver, Colorado. As an Electrical Systems Engineer on the FBM Life Extension 2 (LE2) program, you will:

  • Perform requirements writing, technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for package level systems, including flight termination and tracking systems
  • Perform analyses at all levels of total system product to include:
    Concept, Design, Fabrication, Test, Installation, Operation, Maintenance, Disposal
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Prior education or professional experience in Engineering
  • Experience in Systems Engineering, specifically in the areas of requirements, verification, and/or Systems Integration
  • Active or Current Secret Clearance required prior to start
  • Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Ability and willingness to work within a secured-closed environment
Desired Skills
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering or related technical discipline with 5 years of related professional work experience
  • Experience with Avionics and/or Electrical systems
  • Experience with DOORS, DOORS Next, or other requirement management tool
  • Experience with, or working on, the FBM program
  • Experience working with the U.S. Navy, or Submarine exposure is highly desired
  • Effective communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts, lead reviews, and negotiate requirements
  • Experience integrating across functional organizations
  • Proficient with the MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Project
  • Self-starter, able to complete work with general direction
