Description
This position is for an Advanced Engagement Supply Chain Quality Engineer who can demonstrate extreme ownership of the entire Supply Chain Quality lifecycle for several Commercial Civil Space (CCS) programs. A qualified candidate can apply quality principles in design, incoming material, requirements development, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, process standardization, and/or production support as they apply to product or process quality for major subcontracted products.
Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity.
Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engages in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering) or equivalent, with 5+ years of professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
- Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation.
- Root Cause & corrective action implementation experience.
- Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) requirements including AS9100, ISO
9000 and/or equivalent QMS requirements.
- Experience with Supply Chain Quality Engineering and customer and/or supplier facing roles.
- Quality MRB Certification.
- Proven ability working independently and with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time. The work will be performed at a Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: 9x80 every other Friday off.
Pay Rate and BenefitsAnnual base salary range (select states): $99,700 – $175,835. Salary varies by location and qualifications.
