Risk and Management Lead

Overview

Lockheed Martin seeks a motivated Systems Engineer to serve as Risk and Opportunity Management Lead for P267 and P277 programs within Global Security in Denver, Colorado.

In this role you will work in a high‑tempo, multi‑disciplinary environment, supporting the team under the Chief Systems Engineer, Chief Engineer, Program Manager and IPT Leads.

• Work directly with IPT/segment leads and subcontractors to identify, assess and manage risks and opportunities.
• Lead Risk and Opportunity Management Boards, present R&Os at internal and external customer facing meetings, and deliver R&O training as required.
• Support ad‑hoc tasking as directed by the PM and Chief Systems Engineer.
• Shape a new paradigm balancing risk for a first‑mover, go‑fast program that sets a new stage for the enterprise and customers.

• Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management tools and processes.
• Systems engineering lifecycle experience with engineering reviews.
• Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools.
• US citizenship and Eligibility for Top Secret with SCI clearance (T5).

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with ROADS.
• Experience with space vehicle development life cycle.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic team environment.
• Strong systems thinking and change management skills.
• Leadership of multi‑functional teams and consensus building.
• Active or current TS/SCI clearance preferred.

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US citizen to be considered.
