Responsibilities
  • Assist engineers in the development, testing, and manufacturing of flight and prototype hardware.
  • Document assembly and test procedures, ensuring adherence to quality standards and internal training.
  • Fabricate and validate critical flight hardware, including mechanical and electrical assembly and flight Ground Support Equipment.
  • Interpret and work from engineering blueprints, ensuring accurate assembly and testing of aerospace hardware.
  • Provide technical support to the engineering team, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of new processes and procedures.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Technician, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing setting.
  • Proven experience in the fabrication and validation of critical flight hardware, including mechanical and electrical assembly.
  • Solid understanding of ESD sensitive environments.
  • Proficient in interpreting and working from engineering blueprints.
  • Knowledge of polymetrics and their application in the manufacturing process.
  • Previous experience working with NASA or similar organization is highly desirable, but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work culture.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a variety of audiences.
  • A strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
