Program Manager – Small Satellite Missions
A pioneering space tech company is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the development, production, and delivery of small satellite missions
. This role will see you at the heart of mission success — coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring complex satellite projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest technical standard.
- Lead satellite mission projects from concept design through to delivery to the launch provider.
- Develop detailed project plans, define milestones, and ensure cross‑team alignment across engineering, production, software, and integration.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and timely updates.
- Identify and mitigate program risks while keeping teams focused on key deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to troubleshoot challenges and optimise performance.
- Support business development with project estimates, resource forecasting, and risk assessments.
- 5+ years’ experience managing satellite or aerospace programs, ideally within small satellite missions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Systems, or Software Engineering (or similar).
- Proven track record overseeing full‑lifecycle aerospace projects.
- Strong leadership, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and modern methodologies.
- Technical understanding of satellite systems design, integration, testing, and launch processes.
- PMP or similar certification preferred.
- Must be eligible to work on USG projects and obtain necessary clearances.
You’ll be joining a collaborative, fast‑moving environment shaping the next generation of small satellite capabilities. Every mission is unique, every milestone matters, and your leadership will directly impact how innovation reaches orbit.
Travel: Occasional travel to customer, partner, and regulatory meetings.
Location: Onsite in Denver, Colorado (some flexibility possible).
