Program Manager – Small Satellite Missions

A pioneering space tech company is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the development, production, and delivery of small satellite missions
. This role will see you at the heart of mission success — coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring complex satellite projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest technical standard.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead satellite mission projects from concept design through to delivery to the launch provider.
  • Develop detailed project plans, define milestones, and ensure cross‑team alignment across engineering, production, software, and integration.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and timely updates.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks while keeping teams focused on key deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to troubleshoot challenges and optimise performance.
  • Support business development with project estimates, resource forecasting, and risk assessments.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years’ experience managing satellite or aerospace programs, ideally within small satellite missions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Systems, or Software Engineering (or similar).
  • Proven track record overseeing full‑lifecycle aerospace projects.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and modern methodologies.
  • Technical understanding of satellite systems design, integration, testing, and launch processes.
  • PMP or similar certification preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work on USG projects and obtain necessary clearances.
Why You’ll Love This

You’ll be joining a collaborative, fast‑moving environment shaping the next generation of small satellite capabilities. Every mission is unique, every milestone matters, and your leadership will directly impact how innovation reaches orbit.

Travel: Occasional travel to customer, partner, and regulatory meetings.

Location: Onsite in Denver, Colorado (some flexibility possible).

If you have the technical depth, leadership mindset, and mission passion to drive complex space programs forward, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now to be part of the team shaping the future of small satellite missions.
