The System Architect is the technical leader who owns the system‑level architecture and focuses on the technical details of hardware, software and network systems to fulfill the requirements, and:

• Develops, communicates, and ensures implementation of the architecture vision across the full program life cycle.
• Develops stakeholder needs analysis, architecture analysis, key requirements definition and allocation, architectural drivers, interface definition, requirement validation.
• Develops data products/artifacts related to architecture (trade study summaries, analysis results, etc.).
• Maintains knowledge of current technologies and design and analysis methodologies.
• Ensures the requirements that drive the system design are consistent, complete, accurate, and operationally defined.
• Initiates technology trade‑offs (e.g., Independent Research and Development; technology insertion/infusion/obsolescence).
• Plans and supports architecture verification and validation.

• This is a Senior Career (level
  5) role where a successful candidate would have more than 8 years of professional experience.
• Selected candidate will be required to possess an Active TS/SCI security clearance for consideration.
• This position is contingent upon the program award expected in Quarter 1 2026.

• Experience designing and developing simulations and analysis
• Experience with system or mission analysis programs such as STK
• Experience with modeling and simulation tools and programing languages such as MATLAB or Python
• Experience interfacing with customers and internal stakeholders communicating the capabilities of the systems, and identify risks and mitigation plans
• Strong integration skills and experience in end‑to‑end systems
• Active TS/SCI security clearance, thus requiring US Citizenship

• Experience designing and delivering RF ground stations with associated hardware and software
• Experience with modeling and simulation of RF systems
• Experience architecting RF hardware and software for efficient performance
• Experience with RF ground systems and associated Command and Control, Mission Management Software
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  and/or Cyber Security
• Experience in Agile development, cloud‑based architecture
• Experience translating user needs or requirements into system CONOPS
