Model- Systems Engineer ; Level 4

What does this role look like?

As a Systems Engineer for Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) you will lead and employ MBSE approaches to develop Systems Engineering products using SysML and MBSE tools to capture, maintain, and visualize needed views of model data to communicate systems and facilitate automation of Systems Engineering integration with other domains.

• Lead the MBSE effort on the Phantom program: architecture models, system activity and CONOPs, requirements control, contractual deliverables.
• Elicit stakeholder needs and requirements and model the data.
• Use system data from models to develop assembly, integration, interfaces, and verification data.
• Engage across all teams (SE, R&V, Mechanical, Electrical, Digital Transformation, and Customers) to support products and processes.
• Help redefine and modernize engineering processes, including Peer Reviews, Design Reviews, and Operations/Test efforts.
• Support the definition & implementation of MBSE products and processes by partnering across SE teams and the overall Phantom MBSE/MBE efforts to modernize model-based methods into products, processes, and design reviews.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills; build strong relationships with customers, management, external stakeholders, Design SMEs, and peers.
• Work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment balancing priorities and deadlines.
• Position contingent upon contract award to Lockheed Martin; estimated award date January 2026.

• Experience in Systems Engineering lifecycle and processes.
• Proven experience with project coordination and/or process improvement efficiencies.
• Experience performing Systems Engineering activities associated with Model Based applications.
• 2+ years using Cameo or equivalent SysML for architecture design.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI.

• Experience using Cameo system modeling tools beyond architecture.
• Experience with RF Antenna Systems.
• Experience with process development and deployment.
• Experience with requirements management within Cameo.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and tools.

Position requires a US Citizenship and an Active TS/SCI clearance.

• Onsite Full‑time: work performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
