Part-Time Special Education Teacher Middle School (Contract)

This contract position is ideal for a licensed Special Education Teacher with a passion for supporting middle school students with mild to moderate disabilities. The role focuses on delivering targeted small-group instruction within an in-person setting. This opportunity provides a manageable caseload and a supportive school environment while offering flexibility with a month-to-month contract.

• Deliver small-group academic instruction and support to groups of approximately 58 students with mild to moderate special education needs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, special education staff, and support teams to ensure cohesive student support
• Assist with affective needs programming as required, while primarily focusing on mild/moderate disabilities
• Provide all services on campus during regular school hours

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teacher license with a Special Education endorsement
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Ability to provide in-person support; virtual candidates will not be considered
• DORA licenses do not satisfy the requirements for this position

• Competitive hourly rate ($38-$45 per hour) commensurate with experience
