Job Title: Civil Construction Superintendent
Location: Littleton, CO
Compensation: $130,000

Overview

A well-established heavy civil construction company specializing in bridge, roadway, and concrete structure projects is seeking a Superintendent to join its growing team. This is a full-time, onsite position offering the opportunity to oversee complex, large-scale public and private infrastructure projects valued up to $30 million. The ideal candidate is a safety-driven, detail-oriented leader with extensive experience in bridge and roadway construction, including DOT and City/County projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage field operations for heavy civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to design, schedule, budget, and safety standards.
  • Oversee all phases of bridge and roadway construction from mobilization through completion.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain efficient workflows and high-quality results.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
  • Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to address design or field challenges.
  • Monitor job costs, budgets, and production reporting to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance, enforcing all jobsite safety policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the primary onsite leader, ensuring clear communication across all levels of the project team.
  • Travel to job sites as needed throughout the region.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil or bridge construction.
  • Proven expertise in bridge construction and heavy civil roadway projects.
  • Demonstrated success building DOT and City/County projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and cost reporting.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining safe work environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
