Actively engages and interacts with children in the Child Care program in various settings.
Assists with the supervision, monitoring and tracking of children in various settings.
Maintain a safe and secure environment, adhering to all safety regulations and emergency procedures.
Encourage positive behavior and help maintain a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
Follows all licensing and district policies and procedures for School Age Child Care.
Greet parents and refer questions and concerns to the program manager when needed and appropriate.
Completes all tasks assigned by the Program Manager, Assistant Manager, or Activity Leaders.
Must work directly under supervision of the Program Manager, Assistant Manager, or Activity Leaders.
Contributes ideas and helps prepare enriching activities for children in the program.
Cleaning, organizing, and straightening areas as needed on a daily basis.
Prepare and set up snacks according to licensing requirements, and assist with cleanup.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Two years high school, vocational school or equivalent on-the-job training and experience.
Experience with children is preferred but not required.

Starting pay is $19.41 an hour (Classified Salary Schedule). Year‑Round Calendar.
