We are seeking a Deputy Home Manager to join a small, nurturing therapeutic children's home supporting children aged 4-10 years. This role is ideal for someone who can act as a therapeutic parental figure, offering consistency, emotional safety, and positive role modelling within a trauma‑informed environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Registered Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the home
- Provide direct care and therapeutic support to children
- Lead, mentor, and support staff teams
- Promote a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment
- Contribute to care planning, safeguarding, and Ofsted compliance
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent)
- Have at least 2 years' experience in children's residential care
- Demonstrate a calm, nurturing, and emotionally available approach
- Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs
- A registered driver
- Competitive salary of £38,000 - £40,000
