Receiving Associate

Responsibilities

Supports the day-to-day operations of receiving and stocking product with high level accuracy. Responsible for additional warehouse functions when needed, such as inventory reconciliation and maintaining the warehouse/yard in a safe and orderly fashion. Works the first shift Monday through Friday with minimal overtime;
Saturday morning work may be required a few times a year. Candidates with a good driving record for local shuttles are given priority.

This is a safety-sensitive position. All candidates must remain constantly aware of hazards and work safely. A pre‑employment drug test is required, screening for amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidine, following federal cutoff levels.

• High school diploma or GED with warehouse, distribution, or customer service experience.
• Ability to identify product by size, type, style, color code/sku.
• Read orders and match shipping tickets accurately while entering catalog numbers.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Obtain power‑truck equipment certification.
• Operate inventory control equipment such as bar‑coding devices and handheld terminals.
• Strong organizational, attention‑to‑detail, and data entry skills.
• Obtain a DOT medical card.
• Proven delivery driver experience desirable.

Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; may need to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally. Must withstand extreme temperatures typical of a warehouse environment. Approximately 75% of the time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing. Climbing ladders may be required for top-level selection. Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
