JOB OBJECTIVE: To receive and process emergency and non-emergency calls for law enforcement, fire, medical, and other public safety services; gathers essential information, determines the nature and priority of the call, and dispatches appropriate response units in compliance with all applicable guidelines, policies, procedures, and protocols.
This position is designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of high school and one (1) year of clerical and customer service experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:- Must possess Arkansas Crime Information Center (ACIC)/National Crime Information Center (NCIC) Level 1-Basic Terminal Operator and Level 2-Advanced Operator certifications within one (1) year of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position.
- Must be available to work outside of regular business hours to include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required to include twenty-four (24) hour on-call work availability and/or various twelve (12) hour shift assignments and overtime as required.
- Prior to any exposure to criminal justice information must obtain Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) security and privacy certification and maintain the certification for the duration of employment in this position.

- Online interview (Spark Hire): January 14th - February 13th 2026. During the posting period, up to two weeks after closing. Applicants will have 72 hours to complete the online interview once they have received the link.
- In‑person Interviews: February 23rd - March 4th, 2026. Interview slot availability (dates and times) will be sent to eligible candidates by 12:00 PM on February 19th.
- Offer Letter extended: March 5th - March 9th 2026. Candidates will be sent an offer letter by email. Please note that if we do not receive a response to the offer letter by March 9th, the offer will be withdrawn.
- Pre‑employment:
Psychological exam date and location: March 9th. Human Resources Conference Room and Test Lab, 500 West Markham St, Little Rock, AR. Consent forms will be attached to your Neo Gov profile, the form must be completed no later than 5:00 PM on March 8th. Appointment slots must be reserved by 12:00 PM on March 6th. - Pre‑employment:
Medical exams: March 9th - March 13th. Medical exam location and appointment dates and times will be released after offer letters have been accepted. - Pre‑employment:
Fingerprinting: March 9th - March 13th. Location information and hours will be sent via email. Consent forms will be available on the applicants Neo Gov profile—these forms must be signed and submitted prior to reporting to Live Scan to be fingerprinted. - Pre‑employment:
Background checks: March 9th - March 13th 2026. Links for background consent will be sent via email—consent forms must be signed and submitted no later than March 13th, 2026. - Pre‑boarding: March 16th - March 27th 2026.
