Installation Technician – Talent Acquisition LLC
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Installation Technician to install, test, and verify commercial security, fire, and life safety systems—including CCTV and access control systems. This role involves traveling to client sites, performing system installations and upgrades, ensuring system reliability, educating customers on system use, maintaining vehicle inventory, and completing all required documentation accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is technically capable, detail‑oriented, and confident interacting with customers. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys hands‑on fieldwork and takes pride in high‑quality installation and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Install new commercial security, CCTV, access control, and fire/life safety systems, including upgrades and additions to existing systems
- Perform testing to verify system functionality, signal integrity, and overall reliability
- Troubleshoot installation‑related issues and resolve field challenges efficiently
- Educate customers on system operation and provide clear usage instructions
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and system components in the assigned vehicle
- Complete and submit all required documentation related to installations, productivity, and job completion in a timely manner
- Provide reliable, professional customer support throughout the installation process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and job‑ready work vehicle and toolset
- Follow all safety standards and company procedures while working in the field
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Strong understanding of electronic system installation and troubleshooting
- Experience installing or servicing commercial security systems, CCTV, access control, or fire/life safety systems preferred
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues encountered in the field
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain system operations to customers clearly
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on precise installation and accurate documentation
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing jobsite environments
- Comfortable working in various commercial environments and learning new technologies
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites as needed
Pay Range: $22–$25 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule:
Full‑Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (Hours may fluctuate; occasional earlier starts or later finishes) | 40 hours/week
