This job was posted as part of Vine Brook Homes’ opportunities in property management. Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. Sign on bonus of $1000 after 90 days. Travel is required, primarily local during the business day; a company vehicle is provided.

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority.
• Manage coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone when scheduled. Some overtime required.
• Maintenance Technicians must be able to work unsupervised while performing quality repairs to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
• Travel is required, primarily local during the business day. A company vehicle is provided.
• Strong customer service skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years' experience in the maintenance field.
• Proficient at using a smartphone and computer.
• Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures.
• Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal.
• Water heater knowledge both electric and gas.
• Valid Driver's License. Pass a Motor Vehicle, Drug Screen, Credit, and Criminal Background Check. Must have own tools; we provide larger/specialized equipment.
