Job SummaryProvide preventive and corrective maintenance across a geographic territory. Drive the company van, perform multi‑trade tasks (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, locksmith, painting, roofing, HVAC), and ensure timely service to our clients.
Schedule- Monday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Complete preventative maintenance and repairs per work order requirements.
- Perform minor plumbing maintenance on existing systems.
- Conduct routine painting and carpentry work to maintain facilities.
- Perform minor electrical maintenance within state law without a license.
- Complete service and asset inspections as needed.
- Utilize tablet or smartphone to access, complete, and submit work orders, service reports, and quality inspection images.
- Submit timesheets, expense reports, and purchase‑card logs.
- Obtain necessary materials and supplies for tasks.
- Maintain positive client relationships and timely communication.
- Complete required safety training and attend weekly safety meetings.
- Provide estimates for larger projects and onsite services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; preferred certification in landscaping, trades, or specialty floor care.
- 2–5 years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, or equivalent training/education.
- Valid driver’s license with a good record and applicable certifications or licenses.
- Ability to read and follow safety policies, write reports, and present information.
- Proficient with handheld devices and business system software (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes).
- Compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical system maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Daily local travel between properties.
- Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Climb or balance as required.
- Regularly lift up to 25 lb., often 50 lb., and occasionally 75 lb.
- See close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception; adjust focus as needed.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical shock.
- Wet, humid, high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; chemicals; varying weather conditions.
- Noise level considered normal; daily company vehicle operation.
