Job SummaryThe Department of Neurology is seeking a post‑doctoral research fellow for a one‑year fixed term. The fellow will help supervise and provide training to other members of the lab such as graduate students, residents and medical students.
Qualifications- Doctoral degree (PhD, MD/PhD, or MD) in medicine, biomedical sciences, pharmacology, physiology, molecular biology or a related field.
- Track record of productivity with peer‑reviewed publications.
- Conduct research activities with minimal supervision under the direction of the Principal Investigator and/or collaborating researchers.
- Develop, refine, and troubleshoot research protocols and experimental methods.
- Collect scientific background information for ongoing and future studies and grant projects.
- Maintain detailed and accurate research records, including experimental data and images.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain required safety training.
- Maintain documentation for research equipment, including usage records, service contracts, and scheduled maintenance.
- Prepare manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of grant proposals, amendments, and regulatory submissions.
- Participate in sponsor and regulatory site visits related to research documentation and procedures.
- Attend required seminars, trainings, and meetings as directed by the Principal Investigator or supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
