Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a PACU Nurse for Cath Lab patients at CHI St Vincent, you will use skills in the recovery room and it doesn’t stop there. Most patients never realize the part you played in getting them through one of their most vulnerable moments. Honoring your commitment to care for others is thanks enough.
Recovery room nursing requires keen assessment skills as your patients are sometimes not able to communicate with you. No two days are alike in the recovery room and no two patients have the same circumstances.
- Care for post-operative patients, following a physician’s prescribed orders
- Administer medications as directed by physician
- Develop and implement nursing care plan for surgical patients
- Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients
- Unencumbered license to practice in the State of Arkansas
- 1 year of recovery room or cath lab experience is required for PRN
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 90 Days and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months

Range
$40.00 - $40.00 /hour
