Summary of Job Duties:

The PRN Registered Nurse will provide patient support, education, and assistance in the prevention and/or maintenance of their disease and/or health and wellness state and will work with the individual patient, their families, and providers of care to develop and implement individual health plans, and provide support to the patient in self-management. Coordinate care and/or follow-up for patients who receive care in outpatient clinics.

Coordination of prescription refill requests and patient education coordination in collaboration with physician staff. The RN will develop a specialty in patient care related to the clinic's populations and acts as a resource. The RN will work with the providers and clinical staff to implement innovative approaches and set priorities to meet patient/family needs. Commitment to patient outcomes results in high levels of performance despite workload changes.

PRN Nurses will report to an assigned Clinical Services Manager

PRN Applicant’s Work history will be screened to match the position in which they have applied for.

PRN Maximum allowable hours in a floating year is 1000.
