Summary:
Clinical heart failure RN will coordinate the care of heart failure patients for all aspects of care for the patients assigned to them. The RN will be responsible for patient check in to clinic, communication after visits, performance of phlebotomy, IV starts (as needed), administration of IV and other medications in clinic, patient education, sterile dressing changes, completion of orders prior to visit or procedure, assist colleagues as needed, manage INR clinic under MD supervision, assist with in-clinic procedures, perform device interrogations, and communicate effectively with other members of the care team.
This position will also serve as a transition-of-care nurse, when needed, in providing care for post-discharge heart failure patients for 30 days until the patients are discharged by primary cardiology.
Other information:
- Requires graduation from a state-approved school/college of Nursing and current licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
- 2+ years experience with heart failure patients is necessary.
- CHFRN accreditation is preferable but not necessary.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
