Process Improvement Specialist; PAF

• Analyze and PA&F molding processes for efficiency, scrap reduction, and quality.
• Lead troubleshooting of coil winders, collar molding machines, assembly, and other equipment as needed.
• Directly responsible for ensuring maximum uptime of coil winders and collar molding machines.
• Standardize process parameters and document best practices.
• Track KPIs (OEE, scrap, downtime, yield) and lead root cause analysis.
• Coach operators and technicians on process standards and CI tools to improve PA&F performance
• Collaborate with tooling, engineering, and maintenance on equipment performance and reliability.
• Assist with mold changes and processing as needed.
• Trains lower-level Process Maintenance Technicians on troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems using LOTO procedures.
• Evaluating business processes within PA&F department while using quantitative and qualitative methods, identifies inefficiencies in processes, and implements improvements that solve process-related problems.
• Survey operational performance, gathers and studies data, and submits reports outlining opportunities for improvement.
• Plans and executes process improvement projects and clarifies the project schedule and scope to cross-functional team members.
• Partners with management to define the business goals of the organization and develops process improvement strategies and policies.

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Strong knowledge of coil winding machines, collar molding machines, robotics, molds, and other PA&F equipment.
• Skilled in troubleshooting molding defects and optimizing parameters.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems using LOTO procedures.
• Ability to use a crane hoist.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in working with machinery.
• Familiarity with determining necessary tool accuracy to be appropriate with given tolerances.
• Strong understanding of and ability to apply measurement methods to inspection and/or testing.

• Preferred 3+ years of hands‑on PA&F experience (processing, CI, or engineering).
• Experience working in a fast paced, high change environment.

• Exposure to machine noise.
• Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production area.
• Working conditions are normal for a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds and working in and around heavy equipment.
• Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
• This role may require walking in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
