Manufacturing Maintenance - Utility Worker
We are growing and are adding to our Manufacturing Maintenance - Utility Worker Team
. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting various production processes within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing environment, ensuring the efficient operation of assembly lines and warehouse functions. This position is essential for maintaining productivity and quality standards, contributing to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
This is not a housekeeping or building maintenance position.
This is Mechanical Maintenance position.
Highlights:
Pay rate: $17.00
Shift: Varies. We are a 24-hour facility, and our Maintenance Team is required to be flexible with working various hours based on production/maintenance needs.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in the assembly line operations, ensuring timely production and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform routine inspections of machinery and equipment, identifying any mechanical issues that may arise.
- Support warehouse activities, including inventory management and material handling using forklifts.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills related to manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with assembly processes and the use of hand tools in production environments.
- Experience operating forklifts; certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks as required by the role.
