Job Overview
Clinical staff – Medical Services – Regular position at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Five years nursing experience, at least three years supervisory capacity
- Registered Nurse License in Arkansas
- BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Analyze clinic needs and recommend interventions
- Liaise with director and administration to identify problems
- Act as working supervisor monitoring clinic status
- Implement Quality Assurance studies and report findings
- Manage clinic expenditures and budget constraints
- Ensure licensing and crediting agency standards are met
- Set measurable clinic goals and performance objectives
- Conduct annual staff needs assessments and budget maintenance
- Develop, interpret, and implement policies, guidelines, and job descriptions annually
- Coordinate staff leave scheduling
- Document any physical plant renovation or repair plans
- Participate on ad hoc committees related to clinic issues
- Maintain awareness of staff abilities and limits
- Assign duties appropriate to each individual
- Other duties as assigned
