Position Title: RESIDENT REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Pay Grade: 17

Reports To: VPO

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year

Other Forms of Compensation: Bonus potential, relocation assistance

Job Summary

Regional Director of Operations (RDO) – located in Gainesville, FL, overseeing a large 1,000+ bed healthcare account. On‑site role with no travel. Responsibilities include operational strategy, talent development, service delivery, financial performance, and client partnerships. Salary $120,000–$140,000 with bonus potential and relocation assistance for candidates outside a 50‑mile radius.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and inspire district‑level leadership and dining services teams.
  • Build strong and collaborative client relationships at all levels.
  • Serve as a strategic partner on the regional leadership team.
  • Oversee all operational decisions for the Gainesville account and communicate performance updates.
  • Support the establishment of a positive, safety‑focused, inclusive, and results‑driven culture.
  • Act as a senior‑level liaison and brand ambassador, managing escalations and high‑level communication.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative, QA, and USDA guidelines.
  • Lead talent development initiatives, including performance evaluations, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Oversee P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor market trends, anticipate operational needs, and support strategic planning.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Care related field, or equivalent combination.
  • Minimum 2 years of multi‑unit food service management experience.
  • Experience managing 3+ food service accounts.
  • Proven success managing at least six manager‑level direct reports.
  • Experience overseeing multi‑unit operations totaling $5M+ annual managed volume.
  • Strong track record of driving customer satisfaction.
  • Proven success in fast‑paced, P&L‑driven environments.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop leaders and teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, email platforms, etc.
  • Willingness to participate in patient/resident satisfaction initiatives.
