REGIONAL PATIENT SERVICES MANAGER – FLORIDA
Salary: $90 – 105K + relocation assistance.
Location & Travel: Must live in Florida and be open to up to 80% travel.
Job Summary: Responsible for directing the functions of Patient Food Services for the Florida region, including management, education, training, and performance improvement of patient food service personnel. Works with the Systems Director Operations and Director, Nutrition Systems to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and achieve patient satisfaction and public relations goals.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement system’s patient service programs based on medical direction, patient population, and contract.
- Hire, lead, direct, coach, train, and develop patient services managers and supervisors.
- Oversee evaluation and discipline of patient food services employees as per policy.
- Monitor competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy of managers and teams using necessary tools.
- Visit patients on assigned nursing unit to ensure visits by management or professional team at least once per stay.
- Assist staff in achieving patient satisfaction goals.
- Communicate effectively with all team members, patients, and families through conferences, consultations, and committee participation.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Hospitality Management, or related field, or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years experience, including at least two in healthcare and one in management.
- Certified Dietary Manager required if not a Nutrition/Dietetics degree holder;
Registered Dietitian preferred. - Serv Safe® Certified.
- Knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
- Excellent supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate across all levels: management, client, customer, associate.
- Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet).
