- Operate, maintain, and repair the District Energy System serving the medical, educational, and research facilities on campus
- Address problems and emergencies related to facility issues on campus
- Maintain documentation for watchkeeping and rounding activities

- Collaborate with team members to uphold facility standards and operational efficiency
- High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of relevant experience in HVAC Systems Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Maintenance, Power Plant Operation, Plumbing and Piping Systems, Stationary Engineering, Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance, or boiler operation
- Boiler Operator Certification
- Valid Driver's License with fewer than 12 points on the Motor Vehicle Record
- Intermediate proficiency in computer programs
- Knowledge of central plant systems
- 6-10 years of experience as a boiler operator
- Experience operating a District Energy Plant
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) controls
- Experience with centrifugal chillers
- Knowledge of medium voltage electrical safety
