Position Summary
The Facilities Technician position provides support for daily church activities by completing tasks related to cleaning facilities, event set up, and small projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Facility cleaning – general building areas, worship areas, restrooms, offices, meeting rooms
- Event set up – move tables and chairs in and out of event spaces before and during events
- Print and read event calendars to perform set up
- Empty outdoor trash cans and pick up litter on grounds and parking lots
- Other related projects and duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dependability – report for work as scheduled and clock in and out on time
- Follow daily instruction from the Facilities Manager
- Learn new tasks quickly
- A valid Arkansas driver’s license and ability to pass a driving record check to drive church vehicles

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to function independently and to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand;
walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
- Full‑time and may include working on weekend days
- Overtime is often available when large events need staffing
