- Source: A recruiter sources candidates from various sources; the search starts from our proprietary database. Using advanced sourcing methods like social media, professional networking media, internal, and 3rd party job boards, we identify qualified candidates.
- Validate: A recruiter validates the candidates’ experience and skill sets against our client’s position.
- Initial Screening: Based on the position and the client’s work culture, the recruiter uses initial screening questions to determine the most suitable candidates.
- Submit: the recruiter will submit to the technical team qualified candidates who have passed the initial screening.
- Technical Screening: The technical team then prepares a matrix of the particular requirements and required experience for the position and using a list of questions and the results, re-validates the candidates’ technical skills.
- Background Check: Administrative personnel will provide a detailed background check, as required, per client agreement.
- On board: On successfully completing the above steps, the candidates are welcomed on board and assisted to ensure a smooth integration at the client’s location.
This position will be a member of the Dental Unit Claims Processing Team providing data entry, general office, and answering phone calls from providers and recipients.
Duties- Opening and distributing mail to dental unit staff
- Logging incoming prior authorization requests
- Adding or updating prior authorization records in the MMIS system
- Answering incoming phone calls from providers and recipients
- Providing basic policy information to callers
- Looking up information in the MMIS system
- When necessary, transferring calls to other dental unit staff
- Basic Microsoft Office toolkit knowledge
- Dental or medical claims processing experience
- Answering phones in a medical/dental office environment
- Years of Relevant
Experience:
2 to 4 years - Preferred Education:
Associates Degree or equivalent
- Able to follow written and spoken instructions.
- Minimum of 35 wpm.
- Ability to accurately enter information into a computer, accessing information from a computer, and verifying information on a screen.
- Duties involve utilizing automated equipment, including electronic keyboard, display screen, and sorted memory to perform.
- Ability to operate and understand basic scanning and imaging equipment, including pan, skew, and image correction techniques.
- Ability to conduct basic data mining and data capture efforts.
- Services may be required to be provided at supplier’s site using supplier’s equipment. Typically need an end product of electronic data, typically transmitted through FTP.
- Keypunch and verify records in specified format (ex. ASCII).
- The total number of keystrokes is limited to actual characters, numbers and special characters that are keyed. Spaces, function keys, nulls, and zeros are not counted as keystrokes.
