Job Title: Data Security Analyst
Location: Little Rock, AR (Hybrid 3 days/wk onsite). Candidates must be willing to go to the office 3 days per week.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a Data Security Analyst to help with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and physical security tasks in a regulated environment. You will assist with user access setup and reviews, monitor activity, support investigations, and help improve security operations using automation and data analysis. The role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, adaptable, and interested in security automation and AI-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with Identity and Access Management (IAM) tasks such as user access setup, removal, and periodic access reviews
- Help manage directory services, including Active Directory and LDAP
- Monitor and review user access and activity data across IT and OT systems to support audits and investigations
- Issue and manage physical access badges and security permissions according to company policies
- Handle access requests and reviews through ticketing and work management systems
- Support security and compliance requirements (such as NERC CIP, NIST, and SOX) under guidance
- Assist with access-related incidents, investigations, and data analysis
- Identify manual or repetitive tasks and help improve them using scripting or AI-based tools
- Prepare basic reports or dashboards using IAM data to support security and compliance decisions
- Participate in on-call rotations and work closely with security, IT, and business teams
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent IAM/security experience)
- 3+ years of experience working with IAM tools such as Active Directory, LDAP, MFA, PAM, and physical access systems
- Experience supporting access reviews and audits, especially in regulated environments
- Ability to collect, analyze, and organize data for reporting purposes
- Experience with scripting or automation tools (such as Python or Power Shell), including AI-assisted improvements
- Basic understanding of security tools, logging, monitoring, and incident response
- Experience using ticketing systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Nice to have:
CompTIA Security+, or CompTIA CySA+, or Entry-level cybersecurity or IAM certifications
