Summary:
Works with the Information Systems Training Project Leader and Clinical Analysts to develop training programs for Clinical Systems education. Specializes in a specific clinical application, obtaining certification as required, but may also be cross trained in other modules. Participates in end user workflow analysis and validation during system planning and design phases.
Participates in all aspects of the training program development and implementation, as well as in activation support and ongoing training support.
Takes on call support for the productional system on a scheduled basis.

Skills:
Requires strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, leadership skills, presentation skills, organizational skills and attention to detail. Requires strong customer service orientation and knowledge of clinical workflow. Must have basic computer/software skills with an aptitude for enhancing those skills in the area of presentation software and Clinical systems use. Must have ability to work with minimal direction on assigned projects.
Can handle multiple priorities and lead/facilitate groups. Knowledgeable about current trends/practices in adult education and healthcare. Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines.
Education and/or training required:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in either a clinical field such as Nursing, Physical Therapy, Medical Technology, Radiological Technology, etc., or a bachelor’s degree in education or related field combined with an associate degree or diploma from the respective clinical field. Candidates with only an Associate degree in a clinical field, or a diploma from an associated clinical program will be considered if they have at least 5 years of healthcare experience.
Requires state licensure in the respective clinical field if it is a requirement of that field to do so.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting and 1 year staff development or similar education related experience.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
