Job DescriptionOversees, manages and directs a regional sales and support team for all Endo Therapy disposable and accessory sales activity. The Regional Vice President is the regional facilitator with a geographical influence on the overall Olympus business strategy with a focus on GI accessory sales to hospitals and ASCs. They are responsible for revenue growth of all Endo Therapy products, market share growth and Average Daily Demand growth.
They are responsible for maintaining relationships with Health Care Professionals within their geographical responsibility and working closely with their Olympus Capital RVP counterpart.
- Plans, directs and manages the activities of the Endo Therapy Territory Managers and Clinical Endo Therapy Specialists.
- Responsible for revenue growth of disposable products and all ancillary products as well as overall profitability of their region.
- Recruitment, hiring, training, development and disciplinary activity for direct reports.
- Supports the company’s HR and Professional Ethics policies and programs.
- Plans and conducts periodic regional sales meetings to educate, train and stimulate their direct reports; develops business plan consistent with MSG leadership and the Area Vice President.
- Conducts weekly cadence calls to identify and qualify opportunities and move business through the process to successful completion.
- Ensures full participation in the CRM program by Endo Therapy Territory Managers.
- Supports and strengthens relationships with existing IDNs within the region while proactively identifying and cultivating new business opportunities with additional IDNs to drive strategic growth.
- Has a deep understanding of regional business opportunities and can deliver an accurate sales forecast to the Area Vice President on a monthly basis.
- Identifies opportunities for growth across all MSG businesses and communicates with Enterprise Solutions personnel where possible to leverage opportunities.
- Coordinates and directs daily activity of Endo Therapy Territory Managers and Clinical Endo Therapy Specialists and other field support personnel to increase sales and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Establishes and maintains positive business relationships with physicians, nurses and hospital administrators.
- Cultivates, promotes and maintains Health Care Professional relationships on behalf of MSG within the Region by periodic personal visits.
- Maintains productive relationships with clinicians and business executives within the Region.
- Ensures Endo Therapy Territory Managers and Clinical Endo Therapy Specialists are up to date and compliant with all asset tracking initiatives.
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of the region’s territories.
- Represents top management as an advocate of the company and the division to field personnel. Controls travel budgets of the region.
- Provides input and trend information to management and marketing through weekly bullet reports, cadence calls and frequent interaction with corporate personnel.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a proven successful Sales Representative in a related field; people management preferred.
- Proven track record of success.
- Proficient in developing and following quarterly and annual business plans.
- Strong closing skills.
- Ability to maintain and expand existing disposable run rate businesses.
- Works well in teams.
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce).
