SummaryThe Supply Technician is responsible for proper handling and dispensing of medical/surgical supplies in clinical areas, supply par levels, and various inventory locations.

QualificationsHigh School diploma/GED plus six (6) months of previous experience in supply distribution, preferably in a healthcare environment, required.
Responsibilities- Order and completely fill par levels of medical/surgical supplies in automated cabinets and manual bulk par rooms.
- Check par areas daily; break down pallets and deliver supplies on carts; refill central supply inventory locations and adjust counts.
- Count, manage, and place replenishment orders as needed.
- Rotate supplies into Sterile and non-sterile areas on shelves, carts, and floors using FIFO; check for packaging integrity and remove damaged or outdated supplies.
- Perform cycle counts and correct discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Maintain cabinets and carts in assigned areas in a neat and orderly manner.
- Organize shelves, bins, and labels; keep supply areas clean.
- Follow through on needed repairs to cabinets and carts.
- Remove unauthorized, excess, damaged, or outdated supplies.
- Staff the Central Supply dispatch window and tube system as assigned; issue and record supplies sent for pickup, delivery, or via tube system.
- Issue procedural trays and carts and record issuance.
- Responsible for after-hours delivery of the isolation cart.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary Information: Commensurate with education and experience
