What to Expect- Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care by acquiring medical history, vital signs, and lab samples - Communicate with nursing staff regarding changes in patients' conditions and maintain adequate supplies for patient care
- Greet patients upon arrival and manage scheduling, registration, and check-out processes
- Collect payments, issue receipts, and verify insurance coverage
- Document all patient care activities and adhere to safety protocols
- Salary commensurate with experience

- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program
- Ability to perform point of care testing, draw blood specimens, and prepare specimens for laboratory processing
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Must pass pre-employment screening requirements including background checks and drug testing
- A minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy and Medical Assistant experience
- Two years of experience in an ambulatory care setting
- Pediatric experience is a plus
- BLS (CPR) Certification
