About the job VP Revenue Cycle Management

We're seeking a strategic and operational leader to serve as Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management. This executive role will oversee all revenue operations, from claims and coding to collections and compliance, with the goal of improving financial performance, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction. This is an exciting role with a rapidly growing, P/E backed firm.

This position offers an opportunity to drive meaningful impact in a fast-paced healthcare organization through operational leadership and strategic innovation.

This role can be done mostly remote with frequent travel to the company HQ in Arizona

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the organizations revenue cycle strategy in alignment with business and regulatory goals
  • Oversee claims, coding, billing, collections, and A/R processes
  • Drive clean claim rates, reduce denials, and enhance reimbursement timelines
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, and healthcare regulations (CMS, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Partner across departments (Finance, Legal, Market Access) to optimize workflows and mitigate risk
  • Lead revenue reporting, analytics, and process improvements, including system upgrades
  • Cultivate a high-performance team culture focused on accountability, compliance, and ongoing education

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in revenue cycle management, ideally in diagnostics or laboratory settings
  • Strong expertise with billing systems, payer guidelines, and healthcare compliance
  • Proven success in payer reimbursement strategy and revenue operations optimization
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MHA) preferred
