An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Equipment Store Technician/Delivery Driver – Arran within our Arran Services team based on the Isle of Arran.
HoursFrom 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings. 17.27 hours per week. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
RequirementsA UK driving licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
What You Will DoThe post holder is required to work pro-actively, flexibly and collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way. You will be joining the health and social care team on the Isle of Arran to provide an important service to the residents. The community equipment store technician will need demonstrable communication skills as you will be working with people in their own homes and supporting them with their loaned equipment needs.
You will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of all NHS and NAC equipment on Isle Arran and will maintain regular communication with the multi-disciplinary team on Arran, as well as mainland colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders.

While a range of associated training will be provided, previous experience of working with the public in a caring role would be advantageous. You will need to offer a flexible approach to each working week, problem solve, and work independently as well as be part of a wider multi-disciplinary team with competing demands.
