• Collect patient intake documents ahead of appointments to streamline processes and reduce paperwork
• Answer inbound and outbound calls while collecting essential patient demographics, including personal and insurance information
• Verify insurance details, including Medicaid PCP information and out-of-network coverage
• Direct out-of-network insured patients to the Office of Financial Counseling and inform in-network patients of their copays and deductibles
• Provide detailed appointment information, including time, location, and physician details

• High School Diploma, GED, or formal educational equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service or healthcare experience
• Proficient in following oral instructions and possessing basic computer and keyboard skills
• Strong telephone etiquette and general knowledge of office machines such as printers and scanners
• Exceptional customer service skills

• Associate degree in general studies or a related field
• One year of experience in a medical office setting
• Familiarity with basic medical terminology, with competency expected within three months of hire
• Previous registration experience in a healthcare setting
