About The Role

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), you will play a key role in providing high-quality outpatient psychiatric care to patients in our Little Rock clinic. This primarily in-office position allows for strong therapeutic relationships, direct collaboration with our clinical team, and continuity of care within a supportive environment.

Your responsibilities will center on psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and integrated behavioral health treatment. You will work closely with therapists, medical providers, and support staff to develop comprehensive plans that address each patient’s mental health needs.

Your work will directly impact patient well-being, treatment outcomes, and the mental health of the community we serve.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current Arkansas APRN license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Board certification as a PMHNP-BC
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in outpatient psychiatry, behavioral health, or integrated care
  • Comfort treating a variety of psychiatric diagnoses across the lifespan (or specific population)
  • Strong therapeutic communication skills
  • Bilingual proficiency (English + another language)
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, mental status exams, and risk assessments
  • Diagnose psychiatric conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive counseling
  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical staff to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and quality-improvement initiatives
  • Deliver patient-centered care aligned with evidence-based psychiatric practice
  • Work onsite in our Dallas clinic
