- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the supervision of a clinic physician
- Conduct patient interviews, screenings, and measure vital signs, recording information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
- Manage patient appointment schedules, balancing medical needs with patients’ timing
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive experience
- High School Diploma or GED PLUS successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Ability to perform point-of-care testing, draw and collect blood specimens, and prepare them for laboratory processing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Minimum of one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Registered or Certified Medical Assistant
- Experience in a clinical setting working with patients
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications relevant to healthcare assistance
- Strong customer service skills and experience in patient interaction
