Summary of

Job Duties:

The Appointment Business Center Scheduler (Access Coordinator) answers telephones and coordinates appointments in a call center environment. The Appointment Business Center Scheduler plays a crucial role in our organization by supporting patient care activities. If you have strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our team.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Basic proficiency with computers (preferably MS Office)
  • Excellent telephone etiquette skills
  • General knowledge of office machines including printers and scanners

Level I:
One (1) year of customer service experience

Level II:
Two (2) years of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Call center experience
  • Experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in a healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology
Responsibilities:
  • Schedules, reschedules, coordinates, and cancels appointments
  • Inputs and/or updates accurate patient information
  • Communicates accurate and complete information
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality
  • Performs other duties as assigned

This position is in a call center and remote work is not an option.

Salary Information:

Level I: $15.00/hr ($31,200 yr)

Level II: $15.26/hr ($31,740.80 yr)
