- Provide clerical and patient care support under the supervision of the Clinical Services Manager and RN
- Assist with processing medical records for patient admissions and discharges
- Serve as a receptionist for the nursing unit, addressing patient and visitor inquiries
- Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate patient care and report patient needs
- Carry out the Plan of Care for patients using a multidisciplinary approach as directed by the Team Leader
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent formal education
- Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to Guest Care guidelines
- Successful completion of UAMS Patient Care Technician (PCT) and Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) courses
- Experience in a behavioral health setting or with inpatient care
- Additional certifications related to patient care or behavioral health
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
