Field Reimbursement Manager, Biologic Coordinator, LPN, RN, CPhT with specialty pharmacy experience looking to expand their career. Covering the Greater Little Rock area, down to Jackson MS and Shreveport LA. Live in the Little Rock area. This position base pay is $113K.
Priority given to candidates experienced in the specialty drug prior‑auth process and familiar with the Cover My Meds portal.
The best candidate will be an expert in specialty drug Prior Authorizations, Appeals, and working denials, with territory management experience, and experience training and educating provider office staff.
Required skills and experience:
- Determination to work through all roadblocks and barriers to get the medications approved and paid for.
- Expertise in specialty drug prior authorizations through portals, benefits investigations, Medicaid and Medicare Part D, working appeals and denials.
- 2+ years experience in escalations, education, patient assistance program approvals, foundation coverage, guidelines, and reimbursement.
- Ability to keep up with changes and updates to drug programs, new FDA indications, miscellaneous J‑codes, and payer policy changes that impact reimbursement.
- Degree not required.
This is a true temp‑to‑hire position. All territories will travel 80 % – that's four days in the field.
