The position leads the development, implementation, and oversight of the Regional Value Hub Quality and Risk department(s). The goal is to deliver high‑quality, coordinated, and efficient care for patients covered under Common Spirit Health’s value‑based contracts. The Director manages all Quality and Risk staff, collaborates with other CSH leadership teams, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

The Director sets the vision for the department in concert with the National PHSO Quality and Risk strategy, disburses that vision to the team, and manages day‑to‑day operations including interviewing, hiring, corrective actions, and employee termination. The Director maintains a working knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and contractual obligations and seeks expertise when necessary.

• Required bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; master’s degree strongly preferred.
• 5 years of leadership experience with 3 years at the manager level.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high‑performing service organization.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee and positively impact operations in a large healthcare organization through a matrix relationship.
• Broad understanding of the healthcare industry.
• Strong working knowledge of software platforms.
• Budgeting experience.
• Knowledge of CMS, NCQA, and other accreditation bodies.
• Knowledge of value‑based reimbursement models of payment.
