* High School diploma/GED plus two (2) years of direct respiratory care experience
** or
* * Associate's degree in respiratory care required.
* Applicant must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
* Applicant must hold a current Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP).
* Knowledge of Respiratory care procedures and treatments.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
* Applicable medical equipment and supplies, medical terminology, and treatments.
* Organization and time management.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Performs routine respiratory care procedures, including updrafts, metered dose inhalers (MDI), chest physiotherapy (CPT), arterial blood gases (ABG), incentive spirometry, and intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV).
* Assists with bedside bronchoscopies, tracheotomies, and trach management, including emergency and rapid responses.
* Educates patients regarding use, care, and cleaning of personal respiratory devices.
* Moves equipment and medical supplies into assigned work areas and transports diagnostic equipment as needed. Provides mechanical ventilator setup and management.
* Enters patient treatment notes in the e-chart system and documents patient charts.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
