Summary
This position is for technologists that have passed competencies for two modalities, including advanced EEG/basic EMU/LTM and takes call in either EEG or IOM. Performs all EEGs with understanding of patient needs and satisfactory reporting. Per facility, passed competencies for basic nerve conduction or intraoperative monitoring and learning clinical VER.
Responsibilities- Be a technologist that has passed competencies for two modalities, including advanced EEG/basic EMU/LTM.
- Take call in either EEG or intraoperative monitoring (IOM).
- Perform all EEGs with understanding of patient needs and satisfactory reporting.
- As per facility, maintain passed competencies for basic nerve conduction or intraoperative monitoring and learn clinical VER.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent, NDT program graduate, or 5 years clinical experience.
- Two registries from ABRET or AAET.
- Competencies passed for all essential functions.
