Room Service Ambassador – University of Arkansas System
Join us as a Room Service Ambassador at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). This role ensures patients receive meals and nourishment in accordance with physician‑prescribed diets, food allergies, and preferences, providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide an excellent customer service experience when patients make menu selections.
- Take food orders over the phone.
- Enter selections into the electronic meal selection system, updating and recording patient information.
- Correct menu choices based on meal patterns, allergies, and patient preferences.
- Troubleshoot issues at the point of service affecting patient satisfaction with the food service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum
- High School diploma/GED plus computer skills.
- Basic keyboard skills and telephone etiquette skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a food service, customer service, or patient care setting.
- Health:
