Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a small, dynamic architecture firm in Little Rock, Arkansas. This is a contract opportunity with the potential for a permanent position, offering growth potential within the organization. The ideal candidate will manage essential financial operations while playing a key role in supporting the administrative team and contributing to the firm's success.

Responsibilities:

- Process payroll for both office and field employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments.

- Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and vendor payments.

- Oversee accounts receivable and collections, working collaboratively with the administrative team.

- Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

- Utilize Quick Books (online or desktop) to manage financial transactions and reporting.

- Support the administrative team in day-to-day operations and ensure smooth financial workflows.

- Ensure compliance with local and state financial regulations.

- Prepare and maintain financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Act as a leader within the office and contribute to the firm's overall organizational growth.

- Collaborate on special projects related to schools, churches, and government buildings in the city and state. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or related financial roles.

- Proficiency in Quick Books (online or desktop) for managing financial tasks.

- Strong knowledge of payroll processes for both office and field employees.

- Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows.

- Skilled in performing accurate bank reconciliations.

- Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities in a small office environment.

- Leadership qualities and a promo table mindset to grow within the organization.

- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
