As a key member of our Fayetteville, AR design team, you’ll have the chance to challenge yourself and perform a variety of potable water and wastewater treatment work, planning, design, and construction phase of projects. Jacobs is a large and dynamic company, so you may also have the opportunity to work on projects beyond the water and wastewater discipline. You will also have the opportunity to attend meetings with potential clients as we work to build relationships in our community and enhance our project pipeline in Northwest Arkansas.
Having the interest and motivation to learn and develop a variety of skillsets is a must.
As part of our team, you will also have the opportunity to work on multi‑discipline teams to deliver world‑class projects. Participate in the planning and design of water and wastewater solutions for a variety of clients. Participate in water and wastewater treatment processes evaluations, among other consulting project assignments.

Here’s what you’ll need- In pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
- Must be at least a rising Junior
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- 3.0 GPA (ideally)
- ArcGIS Pro experience (ideally)
- Interest in a career in Water/Wastewater engineering
- Desire to build professional relationships and network beyond the office setting

CompensationThe base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $60,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
