Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established standards.

Responsibilities

* Prepare drawings from sketches, general engineering and design information, verbal instructions, and notes using AutoCAD.

* Generate computer-aided engineering drawings according to established standards and procedures.

* Review all drawings to ensure completeness and accuracy before submission to engineers.

* Convert verbal and written information into precise computer-generated drawings.

* Operate a plotter to transfer developed drawings to appropriate media.

* Assist with a wide range of projects and collaborate with multiple project engineers.

* Manage schedules efficiently and meet deadlines consistently.

Essential Skills

* Minimum 3 years of experience as a CAD Technician using AutoCAD with an emphasis on civil type drawings.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.

* Knowledge of engineering drawings and principles.

* Ability to read and understand construction drawings.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* High school diploma or technical school training.

* Experience with ArcGIS software.

* Knowledge and background with Bluebeam software.

* Experience with Autodesk products Civil 3D and/or Revit with associated families/libraries for civil engineering projects.

* Ability to make minor mathematical calculations.

* Excellent communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Little Rock, AR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
